If you've ever felt that you're too crowded and need to get away from the people, head to Wyoming. Wyoming has the lowest population of all the states but makes up for it with its wildlife population. The pronghorn antelope have the residents outnumbered. Along with the antelope, there are bears, buffalo, bobcats, and lots and lots of cattle. Wyoming is also home to the famous Yellowstone National Park. Althought Yellowstone does get crowded in the summer, it is worth it to see Old Faithful in action. With an average height of 130 feet, Old Faithful lives up to its name by erupting at an average interval of 94 minutes.
Wyoming has many historic sites to visit including forts, battlefields, and old western towns that preserve the history of the state. The National Historic Trails Center in Casper reminds us what it was like to travel the emigrant trails through Wyoming. And if you want to go further back into history, Wyoming has some of the best dinosaur museums, paleontology sites, and dig-sites to visit.
